Coolant should be filled to the radiator, water inlet, neck, should not be full. After filling, the discharge valve closed, the valve and the water filter seat open, so that the DCA4 additive can be mixed into the cooling system. Cooling system should be mainly composed of pure water, antifreeze and DCA4 additives composed of 3 components, each liter of cooling water contains 50% pure water, 50% antifreeze and 0.5 units of DCA4 additives. The cooling solution is available throughout the year and can be used for two years in a row.

Purified water can avoid scale formation because it has been purified. Antifreeze refers to industrial ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, which can reduce the freezing point of water and raise the boiling point of water. The concentration of antifreeze shall be 40%. 68%, the concentration is too high or too low will affect the antifreeze capacity of coolant. In most climates, the recommended concentration of antifreeze is 50%, and the freezing point of the coolant is up to 33cC. DCA4 additives form a protective film on the inner surface of the water system to prevent cavitation and accumulation of deposits in the cylinder and the body.

2 、 lubrication system maintenance

Before the new machine starts, fill up the oil through the filler. When filling, the engine should be placed in horizontal position and pay attention to the change of oil level. Add oil to wait for a while, and then look at the oil gauge on the oil level, that is, after the oil flow to the oil tank, the oil level is correct. Fill up the cleaning oil on each oil filter before it can be mounted on the engine.

When choosing engine oil, one should select the proper oil viscosity, and two comply with the American Petroleum Institute (AH) level of performance. Perkins diesel generator set requires multi-stage viscosity of the engine oil, because the multi-stage viscosity engine oil suitable for a wide range of temperature, and consumption rate than single stage viscosity of about 30% of the oil. The performance levels of oil on behalf of the oil level of additives for heavy duty engine protection is mainly because of the additives in the oil, additive over time will gradually consumed, only use enough grades of oil, in order to ensure that the engine can obtain reliable protection in the whole huanyouzhouqi. The B and C series engines must use CF4/SG or CG4/SH oil.
