Six tips for engine longevity

Grinding is running in. This is the basis for prolonging the service life of the engine. Whether it is a new engine or an overhauled engine, it must be run in accordance with the regulations before it can be put into normal operation.

The feet are full of oil, water and air. If the oil shortage or disruption will make the engine lubrication, body wear serious and even the phenomenon of burnout; if the cooling water shortage will make the engine temperature is too high, power loss, increased wear, shorten the service life; if the air supply is not timely or interrupted, there will be difficult to start, poor combustion, power down, the engine can not be normal the phenomenon of running.

Net oil, water, gas, gas and body net. If the diesel, gasoline is not pure, will make the body wear with precision, with the increase of the gap, caused by oil spills, oil supply pressure, reduce the gap bigger, even cause the oil plug, axle, burning tile and other serious fault; if a large number of dust contained in the air, will accelerate the wear cylinder sleeve, piston and piston ring; if the cooling water is not pure, will make the cooling system due to scale congestion, prevent engine cooling, lubrication condition, wear the body; if the body appearance is not clean, will cause the surface from corrosion, shorten the service life.

Adjustment of valve clearance, valve timing, fuel diesel or gasoline engine advance angle, fuel injection pressure and ignition timing etc. should be timely check and adjustment, ensure that the engine is in good condition, in order to save fuel and prolong the service life.

Check the fastening parts frequently. As the diesel engine and gasoline engine are affected by shock and uneven load during use, the bolts and nuts are easy to loosen. All parts of the adjustment bolts should be checked, so as not to damage the body caused by loosening.

Use the engine correctly. Before running, the shaft, tile and other lubrication parts should be lubricated. After starting, the water temperature should be over 40 degrees Celsius before putting into operation. No prolonged overload or low speed operation is prohibited. Before you stop, you should unload the load and lower the speed. When the water temperature drops to 50 degrees after winter parking, the cooling water is released (except for the engine with antifreeze). At ordinary times, the engine should be well maintained so that the machine is always in good condition. We should observe frequently, check frequently, find faults and remove them in time.
