1. observe the oil color

Domestic genuine bulk oil for the light blue, with bright luster, uniform flow. 2. identify oil number and test viscosity

Domestic drum oil is divided into two kinds: gasoline engine oil and diesel engine oil. Gasoline engine oil according to viscosity is divided into HQ, 6, HQ, 6D, HQ, 10 and HQ, 15, four brands, low temperature, should choose the brand number of small or with "D" word of the engine oil, high temperature, should choose the brand number of big engine oil. According to the viscosity of diesel engine oil is divided into HC, 8, HC, 11 and HC, 14, three brands, selection principles and gasoline engines the same. 1., rub and twist identification

2. differential oil dipstick

Taking the oil scale to the light observation scale line is clear, when the oil through the oil dipstick please do not see the oil line, too dirty, should be replaced immediately.

3. dumping discrimination

A small amount of oil in the oil sump is injected into a container, and then slowly poured out of the container to observe the gloss and viscosity of the oil flow. If the oil flow can remain slender and uniform, it indicates that there is no colloid or impurity in the oil, and it can be used for a period of time, otherwise it should be replaced.

4. oil drop check

Drop a drop of oil in the oil pan on the white paper. If the center of the oil drop is dark, it is dark brown and even without particles. The Yellow infiltration around it is very small, indicating that the oil is spoiled and should be replaced. If the oil drop center black spot is small, and the color is shallow, the Yellow infiltration sign is larger, indicating that the oil can also be used.

The above inspection should be done after the engine is stopped and the oil has not been deposited. Otherwise, the correct conclusion may not be obtained. Because the oil after precipitation, floating above is often good oil, so that the inspection is only a surface phenomenon, and deterioration of oil or impurities remain at the bottom of the oil pan, which may lead to false detection.

Two, add and replace the oil

(I) determination of replacement and addition

Some people think that the engine oil can not be added, and can only be replaced by way of, in fact, this should be based on the actual situation to judge. Sometimes, the reduction of the amount of oil does not mean that the quality of the oil drop, just because of a cause, and if not replaced by adding directly, may cause unnecessary waste. After the new engine is completed, the engine oil should be completely replaced and cleaned, and the oil duct shall not be added. The purpose is to eliminate the mechanical impurities produced during the running in period. For engines with very poor operating conditions, such as heavy air in the cylinders, the new oil will soon become ineffective. At this point, replace the engine oil with the engine overhaul.

When the engine is finished running, the oil changed should be checked and added periodically according to the size of its consumption, but the number of times added shall not exceed two times. If it has been added on the surface, the amount of oil is sufficient, actually contains a lot of impurities and lubrication is extremely unfavorable to the amount of oil resin, effective lubrication is greatly reduced, will accelerate the mechanical wear and tear. Therefore, it should be replaced according to the standard of replacement. 1. start the engine until the engine temperature rises to normal operating temperature. Then heat off the waste oil (including oil, strainer and oil in the radiator).

2. prepare the cleaning oil according to the ratio of oil and diesel 1:1, add the cleaning oil to the required oil surface height. Start the engine at medium speed, 5~10min, clean the oil when it is hot, and wash it two times when necessary.

3. cleaning or replacement of oil filter, disposable filter must be replaced, centrifugal oil filter should clean the rotor cavity.
