Experience monitoring of diesel generating set during operation

During the operation of diesel generator set, the operation of the diesel generator set is monitored mainly by the experience of the operator. The main monitoring means is to judge the operation and the power supply of the unit by means of "listening, touching, looking and smelling".

1 listen to the operation of the diesel generator is not uniform?.

2 listen to the burning noise of the fuel in each cylinder is normal.

3 listen to the impact of the connecting rod and crankshaft is normal.

4 listen to the high pressure pump assembly and the diesel engine transmission mechanism, whether or not abnormal sound.

5 listen to the valve and exhaust valve are all normal sound.

2, touch

1, touch each cylinder head exhaust manifold, and feel its temperature is normal. The touch position is shown in figure 12-8.

2 touch the cylinder head drain pipe and feel the temperature is normal. The touch position is shown in figure 12-9.

3 touch the diesel engine and generator housing and feel the temperature is normal.

4, touch the combustion chamber outside the body and the free style cylinder head, and feel the temperature is consistent, as shown in figure 12-10.

3, look

1 look at the exhaust color of the exhaust pipe of the diesel engine, exhaust smoke is black, white or blue is abnormal, the normal situation should be a light gray smoke.

2 look at the instrument to be seen, that is, the diesel dashboard, as shown in figure 12-11. The oil pressure gauge indication should be 0.25 ~ 0.35MPa (2.5 ~ 3.5kgf/cm2) range, the oil pressure of 6135G diesel engine is 0.30 ~ 0.40MPa (3 ~ kgf/cm2), when the engine oil pressure is less than 0.2MPa (2kgf/cm2), should be down to check. Diesel engine oil pressure in 0.35 ~ 0.45MPa (3.5 ~ 4.5kg/cm2) range; the charging current meter instructions should be in the range of 10 ~ 15A; diesel generator for continuous operation, the oil pressure gauge instructions should be 60 to 85 DEG C range, temperature meter indication should be at 60 ~ 85 the temperature range of real value; the basic lines should be tachometer of engine speed. If the above indicated values are not within the specified limits, they shall be checked out at the same time.

3 see if the indicator of the voltmeter is within the specified range and there is no big fluctuation. Whether the frequency meter is 50 Hz indicates whether the fluctuation range is within the allowable range of the electric equipment.

4 see whether the indication of the excitation ammeter and the insulation instructions are normal.

5 to see whether there are oil spills, water leakage and so on. If the fuel pump, a governor assembly and low pressure and high pressure oil leakage, will cause the unit power shortage and speed instability.
