Subsystem monitoring of diesel generator set in operation

During the operation of diesel generator set, the monitoring of each subsystem by the operator is directly related to the quality of the diesel generator set. Therefore, the regulations for the management of diesel generator sets must be conscientiously carried out. The following briefly describes the diesel generator unit system monitoring methods.

1, operating system monitoring

The floating value of the generator output current must be within the specified range. If the oil supply handle jumps or falls due to the long time power supply, the speed of the diesel engine will be unstable and the frequency of the output current will be affected. Therefore, operators in the unit plus load, must be in the rated speed position to lock the fuel supply handle. The position of the oil supply handle is shown in figure 12-12.

2 、 management of fuel supply system

The physical shape of the components of the diesel fuel supply system, as shown in Figure 12-13, is not. During the operation of the diesel generating set, it is necessary to ensure that the diesel is clean, free of impurities and leakage, and no air is allowed in the system.

The impurities in the diesel oil block each filter screen, will cause diesel engine oil supply interruption or inadequate, so in the operation process is absolutely not allow this situation. When the diesel engine operates at the rated speed, if the interface, fuel injection pump or oil pump leaks, or the fuel supply system is mixed with air, it will cause the entire diesel generator unit power decline and frequency instability.

3 、 management of lubrication system

Lubrication system management from the general oil pressure, oil temperature and oil 3 aspects.

In the operation of diesel generator process, we should always observe and check the oil pressure gauge instructions and oil sump oil on the scale, this is because the diesel generator in the high-speed operation process, if the engine cylinder gasket is damaged or water-cooled oil radiator is damaged, will cause the cooling water into the sump caused oil level rise and oil deterioration etc.. If the operator can not find the above situation in time, the diesel engine will burn tile accident, and it will cause the connecting rod to break the body, causing serious economic losses. Therefore, operators in the diesel generator unit operation process, or regularly extract oil dipstick for inspection, found that the failure should be stopped immediately for processing.
