Zhuanghe offshore wind power project is located in Liaoning city of Dalian province Zhuanghe project site area, 8.6 kilometers long from north to south, East 7.7 km distance from the center of the site coastline of about 22.5 kilometers, sea area of about 47.7 square kilometers area, the depth of 15-25 meters. The total installed capacity of the project was 300 thousand KW, with a total investment of 5 billion 140 million yuan, and was approved in December 2016.

　Project plans to install a single capacity of 3-5 MW of large power wind turbines, a total of 73 units, the annual utilization hours of 2400 hours, plans to June 2018 the first batch of grid connected generation. Project supporting the construction of a 220 thousand volt offshore booster station, 10 to 35 thousand volts in sea power lines, center controlled 2 to 220 thousand volts and a cable sent on land, all the electricity through offshore booster station together boosted by 220 thousand volts of submarine cables of Liaoning power grid. The project is planned to be put into operation at the end of 2018, and the power consumption will be about 714 million kwh after the completion of the year. It can meet the power consumption of 450 thousand households for one year. Compared with the same scale coal-fired power plants, the annual savings of about 230 thousand tons of standard coal, reduce ash about 55 thousand and 300 tons, 6 thousand tons of sulfur dioxide emissions, 637 thousand tons of carbon dioxide, with important economic and social and ecological benefits.
