General Motors invest in solar photovoltaic projects in Arizona

General energy Financial Services Company, is part of Ge, said on Wednesday that the acquisition of a large U.S. solar photovoltaic project $100 million shares, making it last year in the field of investment reached $140 billion.

The company declined to disclose the exact amount of ownership, shares and expected return of the plant.

Investors have been attracted to this ancient Arlington like a large solar photovoltaic power plant, because it will make them achieve sustained steady income predictable through electricity sales, and operation cost is very low, unlike those of fossil fuel power plant, must buy coal or natural gas.

Last year, general EFS signed a deal with Exelon, the public utility company, to buy FirstSolar's 550 megawatt desert sunshine power station in California, which is expected to cost $2 billion.

The EFS, which invests in renewable and conventional energy all over the world, bought about $1 billion in energy engineering bonds last October at Bank of ireland.

The move to invest in India solar energy will make it one of the earliest investors, and India is expected to become the world's largest solar photovoltaic market.

"I think there are a lot of opportunities for India solar energy, which is the beginning of its development, obviously there will be ups and downs, but we are very interested in this, we are doing our first investment in this field.""

General EFS also has a team of solar rooftop installations for residential and commercial areas.
