The first point: external cleaning:

If there is still water pollution, then rinse it with 8% acid solution;

After descaling, neutralize with 3% alkali solution two times, then rinse with water more than three times;

When all work is done, check that the radiator is leaking. If water leaks, apply for repair;

If it does not leak, replace it again. The radiator should be refilled with fresh water and put on rust inhibitor.
